| Stop it, Muse!
Music
| So. Muse have created an album that not only rips off everything (including even Muse themselves) but is also cheesy, pretentious, overblown, distasteful, arguably racist, and, most importantly, terrible. Here’s how it breaks down:

| Album: Eskimo Snow by Why?
Music
| It’s an oft-repeated cliché that Eskimos have fifty-plus words in their lexicon to refer to snow. The title of this album then would seem somewhat appropriate, given that Why? are a band prone to making music that it would seem impossible to categorise using any single musical term or classification.

| Album: Monsters of Folk
Music
| Musical supergroups, like Scientology, should always be approached with caution. However, if you put together four already musically incestuous friends, how bad can it be? Not bad at all is the answer if you’re talking about new band Monsters of Folk, which features members of top modern Americana acts Bright Eyes, My Morning Jacket and M. Ward. In terms of music, they offer nothing new – country rock and folk – but boy do they do the good old stuff well.
