Horizons upon horizons
They say they are never ending.
I thought myself a giant once,
Where I could grasp horizons the same way I did life’s supposedly endless opportunities.
But this giant has never felt so small,
And the horizon has never seemed so far away.
Even giants fall you see,
Once in a while.
I hope to rise again and go back to my home in the clouds
where I can taste life like sweet candy floss and know
that I can still stand tall.
